The 'Mad May Rake Race' is BetOnBet's shortest race to date where top 30 players collecting the most rake race points in only one week will share a prize pool of $10,000.
The race starts Monday 19th and ends Sunday 25th, and as usual you will earn daily points based on rake and raked hands. In addition, BetOnBet award top 30 players with bonus points every day, and they've added even bigger bonuses on the weekend, so make sure to claim your share of those!
How to participate
1. Download and open the BetOnBet Poker Client
2. Log in and click on the "Bank" button
3. Click on the "Mad May Rake Race" tab
4. Sign up for the Mad May Rake Race
How to earn points
Every $1 raked counts as 1 Mad May Rake Race point, and every raked hand counts as 1 Mad May Rake Race point. BetOnBet add up the two numbers every day and that becomes your daily accumulated Mad May Rake Race points.
Example: One day you rake $93.50 and got 230 raked hand.
You have then generated 93.50+230 = 323.50 Rake Race points
You can monitor your progress and standing on the Mad May Rake Race leaderboard via My Page on www.betonbet.com or via the poker client. The leaderboard is updated daily.
How to earn bonus points
In addition to the Mad May Rake Race points generated from raked dollars and raked hands, the top 30 players will get an extra bonus every day. These bonuses can really push you up the leaderboard and should not be overlooked!

Terms & Conditions
1. The Mad May Rake Race starts 19th of May, 2008 at 00.01 CET and ends 25th of May, 2008 at 23.59 CET. Only hands and rake during this period will count towards the competition.
2. Top 30 players at the end of the competition win a cash prize. All prizes will be paid as cash to winners' BetOnBet account no later than Friday 30th, 2008.
3. The leaderboard and final results presented at www.BetOnBet.com are undisputable and final.
4. Any player found to be involved in fraudulent activity will lose their points or prizes and be banned from further participation in the promotion.
5. Points are calculated based on rake ($1 = 1 point) and raked hands (1 raked hand = 1 point). A hand is considered a raked hand when a player is dealt cards in a hand and the pot is raked a minimum of $0.25.
6. Last day for registration is 23rd of May at 23.59 CET. If you sign up after 19th of May, you will still get points earned since May 19th, but do not have the right to qualify for bonus points for days passed.
7. Top 30 players every day will each get additional bonus points according to the following structure:
Weekday bonus points (Monday 19th - Thursday 22nd):
1st place = 1000 points, 2nd-3rd place = 700 points, 4th-5th place = 500 points, 6th-10th place = 400 points, 11th-20th place = 300 points, 21st-30th place = 200 points
Weekend bonus points (Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th):
1st place = 2000 points, 2nd-3rd place = 1500 points, 4th-5th place = 1000 points, 6th-10th place = 800 points, 11th-20th place = 600 points, 21st-30th place = 400 points
