1.1 How can I earn commission?

  1. Choose which website(s) you want to play/shop on in our partner section.
    (You must use banner or text link on GetRake.com to receive commission).
    Poker, Casino, Bookie, Shops.
  2. Download software from site if necessary.
    Note: Be sure to have “cookies” enabled in your browser.
  3. Register an account; find available username and/or member ID.
    Note: Do not use any bonus code if not specified by GetRake in partner profile.
  4. Go back to GetRake > ”my profile” > “your sites” >"Register Site"
    Scroll to find the site in question. Click next.
    Fill in requested information. Click on register.
    Note: Use Capitol and small letters exactly as your approved info.
  5. Done. Get info about commission in "my profile" > "info" >"Income Section"

1.2 Is there a limit on how much money I can make each month?

There is no limit on how much money you can make.
Neither from own play nor from your referrals play.

1.3 When/ How do I get the money I have earned?

Members will receive their commissions once a month.
Example: Commission based on activity for April 1st – 30th will be paid out first week of June. GRP pot will be paid out once every 6 months.
(There is not one month delay on Direct partners)

1.4 What is the Promotion Pot?

GetRake.com is a community. A portion of commissions generated by GetRake community will be used to various free roll tournaments and other competitions.

1.5 Will GetRake get more partners?

Yes. We will get more partners and offer our members the best collection of partners.

1.6 Will I receive any signup bonus when signing up new accounts?

Yes. Almost every Poker and Casino partner offers this. You can sort our partner list by clicking on the name of the columns Bonus and Max Bonus. This will sort our list according to who gives the highest bonus.

In most cases this bonus will be subtracted from your commission.

Do not use any Bonus Codes when signing up if not specified in partner profile. This may cause problems for your tracking. See example of partner with bonus code here.

1.7 Can I take advantage of reload bonuses?

Yes, but they will usually be subtracted from your commission.

1.8 Can I track my earnings?

Yes.
As a member you get your own member section, which includes a income section. In your income section you can track your income from your referred members (10- 3%) and your income from all “Individual payout” partners.
Note: Your income section does not include details on your Income/RakeBack from Direct payout partners as our partners pay these commissions.

2.1 What is important to be tracked correctly?

No commission will be generated if your account(s) aren’t tracked through GetRake.com
Even though most of all new accounts will be tracked correctly to GetRake.com, it is nothing you or we can do to be 100% sure of this. But there is a few things you can do to be almost 100% sure that you are tracked to GetRake.

  1. Always use banner or URL links from GetRake partner section (Poker, Casino, Bookies and shops) when opening new accounts.
  2. Do not use any Bonus Codes when signing up for new accounts if not specified in the partner profile for the site you are signing up for. Old bonus codes found on the net somewhere could belong to another affiliate and void any tracking.
    You will be entitled to Signup bonuses displayed in the partner profiles without using any Bonus codes.
  3. Some partners require Internet browser is IE (Internet Explorer) 5.5 or higher.
  4. Cookies must be enabled on your browser for most of our partners to be able to track you correctly. Most computers have this enabled, as it is a default option.

  5. Even if you have done all this you may be tracked to another affiliate.
    Why? If your computer visited a partner you want to sign up with through a banner or Text link on another website you may be “marked” as “attached” to another affiliate. This visit may have taken place days, weeks or even months prior to this signup, you still be “marked”. This information is stored as a “cookie” in your computer. If you are absolutely sure that neither you nor others have used your machines to visit the website in question through other banners or text links than GetRake you can pass over this section. If not, check this:

From time to time we will contact our partners to confirm that those members who claim to have opened their accounts through GetRake is tracked correctly.
(We receive this information from you through your my profile section > Your Sites).
In cases where you are very uncertain that you are tracked correctly you may email support for the site in question and get a confirmation that your account are
“affiliated to GetRake.com”.

2.2 How can I get tracked to GetRake when I already have an account with a partner?

It is absolutely impossible for GetRake to pay commission or RakeBack on accounts not opened through a GetRake partner banner or link.
In most cases your account will be tracked correctly to GetRake and RakeBack/commission will be possible.

Exceptions:
  1. If you have visited the partner in question from another website earlier.
    Solution 1:
    -Delete your “cookies” on your computer (at least for the partner in question)
    -Uninstall any software for the site in question.
    -Before you click a partner banner or link at GetRake.com
    -And register your new account.

    Solution 2:
    -Open your account (from a GetRake partner banner or link) using a different computer (a computer that hasn’t visited that partner from another website.
    -You will still be able to use your new account from your computer later on.

  2. You have not enabled cookies on your computer.
    Solution: Enable cookies on your computer before you click a banner or link at GetRake.com Check if you have cookies enabled on your computer HERE.

Note:
You can also do as suggested above if you for some reason want to open a new account with a partner you already had an account with. If you already have an account with a partner and want to open a new you must most also use different information on your new account (different email address, username, password 8also best to change name slightly).

2.3 How to enable Cookies

Most of our partners use cookies to be able to track you correctly to GetRake when you open a new account through GetRake.
Therefore cookies should be enabled when opening new accounts.

Enabling cookies allows our partners to recognize you as you go from our site to theirs and browsing through their site; if cookies are disabled, the partner site will lose track of you, and your signup will not be tracked to GetRake.

How to enable cookies with Internet Explorer 6 (IE 6.0)
  1. From your Browser meny. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
  4. Put a check mark in the Box for "Override Automatic Cookie Handling"
  5. At the bottom, put another check mark in the "Always accept session cookies"
  6. Click on OK.

How to enable cookies with Internet Explorer 5
  1. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
    Click the Internet zone.
  3. Select a security level other than High. -or-
    Click Custom Level, scroll to Cookies section, click Enable for both cookie options.
  4. Click on Apply.
  5. Click on OK.

2.4 How to delete cookies

If your computer visited a partner you want to sign up with through a banner or Text link on another website you may be “marked” as “attached” to another affiliate. How to delete cookies from Internet Explorer 5 and above.
  1. Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
  2. Click on Internet Options
  3. On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
  4. You may also want to check the box "Delete all offline content"
  5. Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
  6. You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive.

3.1 What is the GRP system?

To be able to share commissions received by GetRake that can’t be shared individually based on each player’s activity we have made a system to share this as fairly as possible. (Some sites have a policy to not share the information we need to divide commissions individually).

3.2 Is there a limit how much GRP points I can get?

There is no limit how many GRP points you can earn.
However GRP points are to be reset every 6th month.
(Not your “all time” GRP points, but your “season” points).

3.3 How can I view my GRP points?

Click on “view complete list” on the bottom of the GRP table found on the main page as a logged in member to view rankings.

You may also view your GRP rank from My profile > Rankings > GRP Rankings

If two or more members have the same GRP score,
the member with the longest GetRake membership will be ranked highest.

3.4 How often is GRP points updated?

Signup points. Updated instantly.
Revenue points: Updated once pr month.
Referred member revenue points: Updated once pr month.
Ranking points: Updated on the start of each season.
Member status points: Updated on the start of each season.
Forum points: Updated every 15 minutes.
Rating points: Updated every 15 minutes.

3.5 I haven’t received any GRP points for my referred members, why?

You don’t receive GRP points for signing new members.
You only receive GRP points based on the commission they generate.
This information will be updated once pr month.

3.6 How can I recruit/refer a friend to GetRake?

There are 3 tools to help you. All accessed from “My Profile” > “Marketing”
  1. Email Invitation. You can send friends and other contacts an Email Invitation to GetRake.com. This invitation will have a link including your member ID. If they use this link to register, they will automatically be tracked as your referred members generating commission to you for life.
  2. Promo Cards. You can write out sheets of 10 Promo Cards with an invitation to GetRake.com. These Promo cards will include your member ID that will track them as your referred members if they use it when they register.
  3. Banners. If you have a website you can place a GetRake banner with your tracking code (member ID) on it. Those clicking at this banner will be tracked as your referred members for life.

  4. Note: All new members using either your GetRake member ID or your GetRake username in the bonuscode field will be attached to you for life.

3.7 What is “GRP points ready“



If a partner is marked with this icon it means you can receive GRP points on own turnover and on turnover made by your referred members.
(1 point for each dollar you receive in Rakeback, and 10% of your referred members).

GRP points can only be given if you have submitted your user information HERE
Choose site – fill in information - and submit.
GRP points are updated between the 18th and the 25th every month.
(June turnover will give GRP points to you between the 18th of July and the 25th of July).

4.1 What is Direct Payout


Partners marked with this icon signify that the partner will pay commission based on your activity directly to your user account at that partner each month or week.
Direct partners do not generate sponsor bonus. But they generate GRP points to both the member and the sponsor. (1 point for each Rakebackdollar, 10% of this to the sponsor).

4.2 What is individual payout?


Partner’s marked with this icon signifies that we pay commission based on individual activity.
You will receive up to 92% of the commission you generate from these partners.
Individual partners generate sponsor bonus and GRP points to sponsor and member.

Note 2: There is a 1-month delay on Individual commissions. This is because we have to wait to we receive payment from our partners before we credit member accounts.

4.3 What is semi individual payout?


A partner marked with this icon signifies that we divide the commission GetRake receives between members that have a minimum activity (produced $5 in rake/commission).
This means that we will divide most of the total commission (70% of it) equally between members with a minimum of activity each month.

4.4 What is collective payout?


Partners marked with this icon signify that our agreement with that site gives us no detail on activity from our members. From these partners we only receive information on total commissions. Therefore we divide commissions from such sites a different way.

4.5 What is the meaning of “evaluating” partners?


Partners marked with this icon signify that this site is new and has to be evaluated.
Until this icon changes this partner is treated as a collective payout partner.

4.6 What is Sponsor Bonus

When you recruit members to GetRake (they use your member ID when signing up, or signs up from your GetRake email invitation) they become your Referred members forever. This means that they will generate commission and GRP points to you every month they are active with one or more of our Individual and Direct payout partners. For each new member you start at 10% referral commission. Read more about referral commissions at About GetRake.

4.7 What is GRP bonus

A percentage of all turnover to GetRake will go into a pot called the GRP Pot. Once every 6 month this pot is devided between those members that contribute the most to GetRake growth in various ways. Read more about this in: About GRP.

5.1 How can I change my personal settings?

You can change all off your personal settings from your “my profile” section.
(Click on Profile on top and a sub menu will appear).

Personal settings you can change:
User settings: About you, location, Email address etc.
Forum settings: Add a forum signature. Notify you on messages.
Change Password: Changing you password.
Profile image: Edit your profile Image (Avatar).

5.2 How can I rate a partner?

6.1 What is Rake / Rakeback?

Rake is the term used by poker rooms on the amount they take from each poker pot you play. This is what poker rooms lives on. They do not charge you directly to play at their sites, in stead they pull out a small percentage of every pot. Rake percentage can vary from site to site; typical is $0.1 - $3 pr pot. Example: If you win a pot of $40 the poker room typical pulls out $2, so your winnings are actually “only” $38.

This may not seem as much, but when you play 60 pots an hour and maybe you play on several tables simultaneously this sums up to pretty much on a monthly basis. The GetRake community have agreements with partners giving us 20 – 50% of this Rake back. We give you, the member generating this commission up to 92% (100% on direct payout partners)
of the rake/commission we earn back to you. That is RakeBack.
In other words: You get access to money you normally don’t see.

All you need to do is to register as a GetRake member and open new useraccounts (poker/casino etc) from a banner or link at GetRake.com

6.2 What is a skin?

A Poker NetWork may include several Poker Rooms. For example the Party Poker network will include the Skins/Rooms Empire, Multi Poker, Eurobet, Poker Now and Intertops. Players at all of these rooms play in the same ring games and sit and go tournaments. Most networks will allow you to sign up under all skins regardless of the number of rooms on the network you are already signed up for.

6.3 What is a Poker Network?
